A Look at Pre-Fall 2010...

As I looked through the countless fabulous pre-fall fashion shows, I was nearly blinded by the amount of electric neon colors. Bold shoulders and the rocker look were also thrown into the mix to create an interesting look. I for one, however, could not get enough of the electric mix of colors. Every collection was a new and creative mix of colors that balanced the feminine softness with the structure of a men's wardrobe. Basically, that trend isn't going anywhere soon. Among some of the brightest collections were Versace, Carolina Herrera, and Balenciaga. This post, I'll talk about one of my favorite pre-fall 2010 collections-- Versace. I just couldn't get enough of the structured jackets and bold colors this collection brought to the table. This first look was one of my favorites in all of the collections. I just loved the print and the silk's shine. The oriental look is timeless, the shoulders and the leather leggings give it that edgy, modern vibe, and the colors make it younger.I'm a huge fan of a structured suit. Although I don't think the suit should always be worn together until you're at least into your twenties, but this suit might just be an exception. =) Fur outerwear is sooooo luxurious. I just want to buy this vest, take it home, and snuggle up with it. =) I love the shoes in this entire collection, especially those boots.

These next two dresses were so great, I just had to post them both. I love the warrior-esque vibe. I'm also a big fan of the asymmetrical skirts. These dresses are muy, muy, muy, bonita.
Ahhhhh, I lovvvvve when there are new collections for me to drool over. =)

I Hate Being Couch-Bound

Hola Chicas,

So, I'm sick today and I'm stuck at home on the living room couch. So, I decided to post a semi-recent outfit that I never got the chance to post.
Sorry about the crappy cell phone picture, it was from back in the olden days when my camera was still at the store, waiting for me. In the pic, I'm wearing a floral skirt from wet seal, an artist top from old navy, a leather jacket from target, black patterned tights from aerie, and grey suede ankle boots (you can't see them in the pic). Sorry, the bathroom is the only place where I can get my entire body into the mirror. I am in desperate need of a full-length mirror, but alas, all I have is a small jewelry box one.

Hope for Haiti and Those Promised Pictures =)

Hola chicas,

So, tonight, as I'm sure everyone already knows, George Clooney's "Hope for Haiti" Telethon will airing on almost every network. Be sure to tune in and donate if you can! There is an all-star list of performers who are singing, and there are tons of celebrities who have signed up to man the phones. So, if you call in to donate, you just might be talking to a superstar! Also, as I promised, here are some of the pictures from my dance competition down in King of Prussia! Sorry about the poor quality! My camera's still busted, and all I could use was my crappy cell phone. Enjoy and comment por favor!

So, the first top is from forever 21, $21. The second top is from forever 21, $15. The third top is from forever 21, $20. The blazer is from forever 21, on sale for 50% off, so it was only $15. The skirt is from wet seal, only $19.

So, it's a different post...

Hola Chicas,

Sorry, I know that I was supposed to post my pics from my dance competition and king or prussia, but, I had some slight technical difficulties...if you know what I mean. :) So, instead of my outfit posts, which I will be starting up soon (I promise!), here is this week's "Who Wore It Better?". The battlers this week are Jessica Lowndes and Paris Hilton. They both wore an Alice+Olivia black, strapless, sequined dress.

So, who do you think wore it better? Comment below por favor!

Please just take a moment out of your glamorous lives...

Hola Chicas,

I would just like to inform you all of a tragedy that has struck my school lately. This past Tuesday, a friend of mine's mother died tragically in a car accident on the way to my school to get my friend. Please keep this family in your prayers, they're good people.

Who Wore it Better?

I'm honoring the People's Choice Awards this week in "Who Wore it Better?". This week's showdown is battle of the a-line's at the 2010 People's Choice Awards. The two battlers are Taraji P. Henson and Niecy Nash. So, who do you think wore it better? (P.S.- Niecy Nash is on the top and Taraji P. Henson is on the bottom!)

En tu opinion.....

"En tu opinion....."- are scarves in or out? I for one completely agree with those fashionistas who believe that Burberry scarves are getting just a tad bit old. I mean, if someone could find a new, creative way to wear them, please just comment below and make me change my mind! But as for other scarves, I think it is completely acceptable to accessorize your outfits with an extra bit of pizzazz! Patterned scarves are completely acceptable in my mind, I would just stay away from going with the same, overdone, plaid scarf.
It's the same as the whole "Ugg" debate. I just read an interesting post on English Rose's blog. (Btw, for all of you who don't read this blog, you are doing yourself a serious wrong! This is one of my favorite blogs to read!) Although trends like these are seen everywhere, with knockoffs on every street corner and sidewalk shop, I for one believe that individuality is more important than having what everyone else has. If you have style, great. Flaunt it. Don't change. Let everyone else be jealous of how chic you look, then you will be the next big thing. Be sure to change up the scarves you wear, and change up the way you wear them. En mi opinion, scarves are in. Be sure to comment below with "tu opinion"! Gracias!
