I love you a Bushel and a Peck

Hola chicas!

Soo, I've been missing you TERRIBLY for the past... oh wait, how long has it been? too long you say... Oh, right, it's been 1 1/2 months! WORST. BLOGGER. EVER. = ME.
I know I've been M.I.A. lately, but school has just been TORTURE on the soul. But, my second trimester of school is ending this week and I'll be starting a two-week spring break! Ahhh, there IS a god. So, I figured since I haven't been around, I need to fill you in a long, torturous post all about ME and what I've been up to lately.
Well, for starters, I had a semiformal dance yesterday at a very ritsy-rich club. It was fantastic (: Here's what I wore:
This is me and some of my fabulous, wonderful, gorgeous, amazing, funny, smart, talented, kind friends (: I'm in the red dress (obviously). It's actually from JCPenney's, and it was on sale for only $40! It's nice from the front, but I'm in love with the back of the dress, which has a heart cutout. Unfortunately, I forgot to grab a pic of the back of the dress, but here's the link: http://www5.jcpenney.com/jcp/X6.aspx?GrpTyp=PRD&ItemID=1aedd47&CF=Reds&DeptID=70656&CatID=80145&SO=0&SelDim=1031%7E&x5view=1&Ne=29+3+4294957900+1031+585+596+8+18+904+833+949&shopperType=G&N=4294936942+4294949525&Nao=0&PSO=0&CmCatId=7065680145
Sorry, the link is sooo long! But anyways, I wore this dress with black ruffle Steve Madden heels, red nails, red lipstick, and a heart headband. I decided to play up the romantic, Valentine's Day-ness of the dress. And for my hair, I went Taylor Swift inspired, since she is always SO GORGEOUS! I did a low, loose, curly chignon, kind of like what she wears to a lot of award shows.
And now, another look at the fabulous life of me. Which is not really that fabulous, but who needs to know?
Again, another one of my gorgeous friends. Her name is Jamie. She is gorgeous. But she doesn't realize it. What do you guys think? It's not a great picture of her though, haha. But anyways, I'm wearing another JCPenneys dress, and it's from the Olsenboye Collection by Mary-Kate (or is it Mary Kate?) and Ashley, a black flyaway cardigan from Charlotte Russe, a necklace I got as a gift for Christmas with the earrings, a ring from a boutique in Bethany Beach, Delaware, Ray Bans, and I fishtail braided my hair. Which, by the way, is something I'm very proud of myself for. I LEARNED TO FISHTAIL BRAID! Ohohoh, and I did my own hair for semi (: Well, now that this is an EXTREMELY long post with TONS OF CAPITAL LETTERS, I'm sure you're very bored. But before I go, I want to leave you with a video of a song that I adore:
It's called "Howlin' for You" by the Black Keys. It's wonderful.

Con Amor,
Lauren xoxo
